Expired Support Assistance

Once VMware Support is expired, VMware is subject to charge a 20% reinstatement fee in addition to the cost of the back-dated support. A customer is not able to upgrade their licenses while the support is expired and is not able to call in to the support hotline for assistance.


If you have expired licenses summary management operations will fail with the error "License Expired, Expired Impact. You cannot perform management operations."

You will see a "License Expired" error after the expiration date.
