APS Global, a Candidate C3PAO and Cybersecurity Research & Development company in preparation for performing CMMC Assessment by its own Certified CMMC Assessor realized the seemingly overwhelming amount of Cybersecurity compliance documentation that needs to be reviewed takes just way too much time and they set about building and developing CompassAPT.

Utilizing the existing and ever improving capability of Large Language Models (LLM), APS Global built an Off-Line Large Language Model (LLM) that could support the Assessor by greatly reducing the time for initial evaluation of large Cybersecurity Documentation packages that can exceed 1000+ pages. Using CompassAPT alongside Auditors & Assessors, what used to be months can now be done in days, saving significant amounts of time for the Auditors and Assessors in performing their necessary and highly valuable determinations.

What is CompassAPT?

CompassAPT is an AI/LLM All Purpose Tool that has been meticulously trained to Map and Comprehend the complexity of Cybersecurity compliance with Multi-Plans, Policies, and Procedures that are required to achieve CMMC Certification.

How does it work?

Under Dr. Hansen’s guidance, CompassAPT has been trained on CMMC-relevant documentation from NIST and the DoD. It serves as an intelligent assistant to Certified CMMC Assessors (CCAs) for reviewing compliance documentation. Using CompassAPT, CCAs can process more document packages in less time.

It typically takes 1-2 business days for CompassAPT and the CMMC Certified Assessor to review and prepare CompassAPT Compliance Report, which is significantly quicker than a typical document compliance and mapping review.
