Since 2002, SkillStorm and its former subsidiary SkillStorm Government Integrated Solutions (SGIS) have supported our nation’s most critical missions. We’ve supported clients with many technology projects from cybersecurity to IT modernization, working alongside the most prominent agencies including defense, intelligence, homeland security, and federal law enforcement communities. Having delivered 10,000+ classified IT, cyber and intel individuals, SkillStorm has the past performance in building and deploying tech teams at scale. Today, we focus on delivering tech teams – at scale – of junior and journeymen labor category levels that are industry certified, agency cleared, and billable day one.
Our strategy is to solve the supply and demand gap of high quality, U.S.-based tech teams with clearances and certifications, all while delivering savings for our government clients. We directly address margin shrinkage and difficulty of filling contracts, which, left unsolved, leads to revenue leakage and a loss of new contract wins.
Delivered Resources to Avoid Revenue Leakage: Deployed DevSecOps consultants at scale, with Top Secret/SCI clearances, to support the Federal Bureau of Investigation ePAS effort as a subcontractor to FSI. We utilized our exclusive supply chain to secure a team having TS/SCI clearances and then built them with the specific tech capabilities the client required, thus delivering a team of tech professionals that did not exist in the marketplace. FSI’ use of our Tech Force by Design solution increased its position fill rate by more than 40%.
Margin Increase by 240%: Designed, purpose-built and deployed SAP consultants at scale with Secret clearances to support the U.S. Army IT Modernization effort as a subcontractor to FSI. Client was not achieving targeted margin on its contract and use of SkillStorm’s Tech Force by Design model increased FSI’ margin by an average of 240%.
200% Margin Gain: SkillStorm deployed a large team of junior Java developers & AWS Cloud engineers to the IRS in the exact tech stacks required across four separate subcontracts. The GSI was able to capture a significant margin gain, while avoiding all the costs associated with a bench/time to achieve the IRS MBI clearance. SkillStorm's resources were billable on day 1 and able to be effective in the specific role immediately.
