Virtual Data Center - The Virtual Data Center service is an all encompassing infrastructure as a service (IaaS) offering built on VMWare technology that includes, compute, storage, network and security. The Virtual Data Center service is a private virtual resource pool that includes a self-service portal to manage compute, network, storage and security, unlimited internet traffic and is protected by Firewalls. There are no variable charges for micro transactions and provides the flexibility to scale up and down when needed.

Cloud Backup - Cloud Backup is a managed backup service for Virtual Data Center’s. Cloud Backup ensures that hosted data is protected. Cloud Backups is powered by Veeam and backups are transferred to a separate physical environment. The backup platform is disk based to ensure speedy backups and recovery. Cloud Backup managed or self service options are available, where backups are scheduled and monitored. Retention periods and frequency of backups are customisable to suite your requirements.

Veeam Cloud Backup - Silicon Sky provides Veeam Cloud Connect with Silicon Sky’s Cloud Storage for customers who have Veeam on premise or hosted and wish to back up to a secondary location. Veeam Cloud Connect is integrated into Veeam Backup & Replication and with Veeam compression and de-duplication technology. Customers can add a Silicon Sky Cloud Storage repository on their Veeam Server as a backup target. Backups jobs can be scheduled through Veeam and stored in Silicon Sky’s Cloud Storage Environment. This eliminates the need for cumbersome tape rotation and management while still adhering to compliance requirements.

Disaster Recovery as a Service - Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) ensures continuity of critical workloads in the event of a disaster. VMWare virtual workloads can be replicated from on premises, or within regions to Silicon Sky’s Cloud Platform. A number of RTO and RPO profiles are available to suite Disaster Recovery requirements.
