redactX Solutions for the Public Sector

The on-prem version of redactX is a software package that is installed and used on a customer computer at their facilities.This server software can be installed on Linux or Windows operating systems.The software supports multiple users concurrently through a web-browser based interface.

Users specify what in the video should be redacted:faces, objects, text strings.In each case users can specify whether all or only some instances (and if so which) should be redacted.Users also control the output type to be generated.

The on-prem version of redactX is sold on a yearly subscription basis.

The redactX software is also available as an Amazon Machine Image on AWS marketplace (commercial, aws.gov, and C2S). AMIs can be launched on demand under full user control. The cloud version of redactX offers the same functionality as the on-prem version. It is offered on a convenient pay-as-you-go hourly billing model. Longer term usage pricing is available through a BYOL arrangement with Carahsoft.

Coming Soon — To further simplify administration and operation of the software, customers will soon be able to upload video files to the redactX website, run redaction jobs, and download output files easily and conveniently. A simple “per-file” pricing model lets customers manage budgets precisely without additional infrastructure costs.
