The Scheduling module enables the rapid creation of vehicle and crew schedules based on unique sets of transit agency rules and preferences. It is possible to express virtually any preference or constraint in the Scheduling Module. Optimization takes just seconds, compared to hours or days with other scheduling tools.

The Rostering Module enables agencies to build a roster in minutes, optimized based on unique sets of rules and preferences. Optibus supports rostering and cafeteria-style bidding.

The Operations Module provides a true end-to-end solution, from network conceptualization to daily dispatch to payroll. Within Operations, driver modifications can be made both ad hoc and well in advance. Planned and actual metrics are automatically measured and compared in the system, which allows Ops to provide a single source of truth for payroll.

The Optibus Driver App is a cutting-edge mobile application designed to streamline communication and enhance efficiency between drivers and depots. The app works seamlessly in conjunction with the Operations Module, resulting in increased visibility and productivity on both sides. Driver App allows drivers and dispatchers to collaborate quickly and efficiently from anywhere and an easy access to work schedules, hours worked, and performance records.

With Online bidding drivers can view, filter, and select roster picks in real time—anytime, anywhere. Whether at home or at the depot, they can make informed decisions quickly, reducing manual processes for both drivers and dispatchers.

Predictive Runtimes uses artificial intelligence along with historical CAD/AVL data to forecast more accurate running times and improve schedule accuracy and reliability. Gain crucial insight into how well your timetables are built and get accurate OTP scores for each trip.

Performance Insights product allows agencies to easily monitor their performance based on historical CAD/AVL data, with route and stop-level analytics, vehicle replays, and OTP compliance.

TTO allows users to optimize their timetables in the Scheduling module to increase efficiency and reduce costs, while meeting their service level needs.

Optibus’ specialized EV Scheduling solution uses EV-specific metrics to help agencies create optimized operational schedules and charging plans that account for all these complex considerations. Quickly explore scenarios and create schedules with increased predictability, optimizing electricity costs, charging times and locations, road conditions, traffic, weather, and more.

A fully automated process integrated into the Optibus platform that provides agencies the ability to generate reliable passenger information displays and timetables. By generating dynamic and visually striking displays for passengers at bus stops, Passenger Billboards can dramatically reduce the time it takes to create such displays from days to just minutes.

Optibus converts transit data in GTFS format into accessible, user-friendly HTML schedules. When you export an updated GTFS feed, Optibus updates the timetables for your website. Automating HTML schedule generation makes it easy to keep schedules up to date when data changes and reduces the likelihood of errors.

Optibus’ Passenger Maps software was developed to display GTFS data though a draggable, clickable, zoomable interface that is both visually pleasing and useful in a way that static maps like PDF files cannot be. The Passenger Maps software will be customized to implement design and content for agencies. This content can include route alignments, stop locations and information, Dial-a-Ride service areas, and real-time arrival estimates (as available and accessible through other systems, like AVL/ITS).

Optibus offers a full-service GTFS Maintenance option through which they perform all maintenance functions on behalf of the customer, including data updates and delivery to third-party application developers.

Optibus has adapted its fixed-route-focus to include GTFS-flex data concepts and export of GTFS-flex data. This annual fee includes all costs related to maintaining the agency’s GTFS-flex, including data updates and delivery to/communication with third-party application developers. Our team of GTFS and GTFS-flex experts will be available by phone, screen-share, and email to receive ongoing education about the data that we maintain.

Optibus will receive stop location, time-point locations, schedules, and fare information from NTC. From this, Optibus consultants will prepare GTFS data, occasionally asking questions about service features to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Optibus will conduct an initial interview and work with your agency to collect and understand all of the details surrounding the operation of demand-responsive services to assist with the development of the GTFS-flex data set.
