What's New: Adobe Connect 10.5

The much anticipated HTML5 focused release of Adobe Connect 10.5 is here! This version completes the participant experience with a more robust HTML client, making Adobe Connect collaboration faster, sleeker, and more accessible than ever.

Key updates discussed: 

  • Native Support for Document Sharing: You will have the same functionality in your browser as currently exists in the desktop client, including delivery of slides (PPT & PPX), Documents (PDF), Video (MP4), Audio (MP3), annotation & whiteboarding, and Adobe Presenter/Captivate authored courses.
  • Custom Applications: Enhance custom apps/pods with the new Collaboration Builder SDK, which now supports pods written with HTML and JavaScript, extending the functionality not found in the standard user interface.
  • Improvements to Adobe Connect Central: User friendly enhancements will allow for faster search capabilities, easier reporting, and complete branding and customization.
