The formal core of visual analysis is the mapping of data to appropriate visual representations. What exactly engages an audience effectively? Is it beauty? Is it clarity? Is it great storytelling? We explore this dynamic conversation in today’s world of data visualization.

During this session attendees:

    • Discovered how visual analytics better presents information to decision-makers and senior leaders to make better fact-based informed decisions

    • Learned how to use pre-attentive attributes

    • Learned the basic principles of data visualization best practices to create a self-service data analytics culture and to help achieve VA mission outcomes
