At a high level, our process uncomplicates a complex web of disconnected data sources, incomplete information and disjointed operation across building systems by focusing on three key milestones – Audit, Analyze, Act.
Audit & Scoping: InSite conducts a thorough on-site energy audit. While we’re there, we connect a data aggregation device to your Building Management network to begin collecting and historizing your operational data. Supplemental data collected during scoping includes basic building information, onsite systems and equipment, capital budgets and planned ECMs, energy supply contracts, historical monthly operational data, and historic utility bills.
Assess: Alongside data collection, InSite engineers perform an ASHRAE Level 2 Energy Assessment to gain a holistic understanding of the building’s operations and inform updates to the improvement roadmap.
Analyze: With real-time utility and BAS data, InSite leverages proprietary machine learning algorithms and FDD tools to analyze the data. Our account team is dedicated to monitoring-based commissioning and data-backed decision making as they continue to measure, verify, and interpret trends from the data.
Act: Our building experts and project managers meet with your operations team monthly to review performance analytics, rebate opportunities and ECM recommendations. InSite also provides support for ECM implementation when you decide which you’d like to prioritize.
