The Canadian Cyber Security Procurement Vehicle was established to create a Secure Supplier Ecosystem & pre-qualify vendors with the required cyber security capabilities to provide the ability to:

• Quickly respond to emerging Cyber Threats
• Facilitate dialogue on Canada’s requirements in order to improve interoperability and integration of technologies 
• Increase access to Cyber defense technologies
• Streamline the procurement of Cyber Security requirements.  

Shared Services Canada has established a list of Qualified Respondents (QRs) who are authorized to engage with Canadian federal agencies, and ultimately sell technology related to cyber security. Carahsoft successfully qualified as a respondent for the CSPV in December 2023.

The CSPV is the preferred contract vehicle for federal cyber security related purchases and is flexible for purchasing both on-prem and cloud solutions in addition to training and services.
