RESTON, VA- July 21, 2015 - Carahsoft Technology Corp., the trusted government IT solutions provider, today announced that it has been ranked for the sixth consecutive year on the 2015 Washington Technology Top 100 Government Contractors list. Carahsoft earned #48 on this prestigious ranking based on prime contract dollars in IT, systems integrations, telecommunications, engineering and professional services.
The Washington Technology 2015 Top 100 listing is based on an analysis of data from the Federal Procurement Data System-Next Generation. Despite the government budget tightening over the past few years, the Top 100 prime contractors were able to sustain growth by expanding into new markets and investing in groundbreaking technologies.
"Government customers are more interested than ever in solutions that allow them to move away from infrastructure management and maintenance, and align resources to focus on core mission goals," said Craig P. Abod, Carahsoft president. "The solutions Carahsoft and our ecosystem of partners provide allow them to do just that. We offer a wide range of leading hardware and software technologies that also feature Cloud, Software as a Service, and similar delivery mechanisms that are compliant with government standards such as FedRAMP."
