of Largest Government Technology Contractors in Metro DC

Ranking Based on Number of Metro Area Employees in 2012

Reston, VA – January 17, 2013 – Carahsoft Technology Corp. , the trusted government IT solutions provider, today announced that it has been ranked among the top 50 largest government contractors in the DC metro by the Washington Business Journal. The ranking is based on the number of employees located in the metro DC area.

This is the third consecutive year Carahsoft has earned a spot on this ranking, climbing from its initial ranking of #42 on the 2011 list, to #38 on the 2012 list, and to #31 in the most recent ranking. During this period, Carahsoft has expanded its team from 180 employees to more than 300 to keep pace with its rapid success in the market.

“Carahsoft has grown from a handful of employees and a few million dollars in sales in 2004 to more than 300 team members who, in 2012, generated more than $1.4 billion in sales,” said Craig P.
