Carahsoft Recognized on Washington Business Journal’s 2012 Lists of Largest Government Contractors in Metro DC

Rankings Based on Contract Dollars Awarded and on Number of Metro Area Employees

Reston, VA – January 20, 2012 – Carahsoft Technology Corp., the trusted government IT solutions provider, today announced that it has been ranked among the top 50 largest government contractors in the DC metro area on two 2012 industry lists published by the Washington Business Journal.

Carahsoft debuted at #26 on the publication’s list of the 50 Largest Government Contract Awardees based on total dollars awarded in fiscal year 2011 according to the USAspending.gov database system. The company was also ranked at #38 on the 2012 list of the top 50 government contractors based on the number of Washington DC-area employees in 2011. This is the second consecutive year Carahsoft has earned a spot on this ranking, moving up from #42.

“In 2011, our revenue exceeded one billion dollars and we added more than 70 new employees to support our government customers and our expanding ecosystem of technology partners and resellers,” said Craig P.
