Carahsoft and Tetra 4D Announce Partnership to Bring
Next Generation 3D PDF Creation Technology to the Public Sector Market 

Reston, VA and Seattle, WA -- December 14, 2010 -- Carahsoft Technology Corp., the trusted government IT solutions provider, and Tetra 4D, a provider of best-in-class solutions for integrating 3D PDF into engineering data exchange, manufacturing and technical publication workflows, are teaming to bring Tetra 4D’s products to the public sector market. 

Under the agreement, Carahsoft will proactively market and sell 3D PDF Converter for Adobe® Acrobat® Pro X, a new software offering which Tetra 4D will begin shipping later this month. Leveraging technology originally provided by Adobe as part of their Acrobat Pro Extended product, 3D PDF Converter is the next generation solution for converting native 3D CAD data to rich, interactive 3D PDF documents.

The 3D PDF Converter software includes a streamlined user interface running directly from the menu bar of Adobe Acrobat X Pro; updated support for 3D CAD formats, including CATIA V5R20 and Pro/Engineer Wildfire 5.0, and Parasolid 23; and an enhanced version of 3D Reviewer, a standalone application that allows users to merge CAD files, move and delete parts, create animations and exploded assemblies, create and manage bills of material, and much more before publishing to 3D PDF.
