Carahsoft Hosts Inaugural HP Software Government Summit on June 21, 2011 

Jeffrey C. Johnson, CTO at the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Nitin Pradhan, CIO
at the Department of Transportation, Delivering Keynote Addresses 

WHAT: Carahsoft Technology Corp., the trusted government IT solutions provider, is hosting the HP Software Government Summit. This one-day conference will explore IT modernization trends in government and will feature tracks on HP Software’s Information Management, Security tools, Operations Portfolio, and Applications Portfolio. Exhibits and demonstrations will be available throughout the day from HP Software partners. 

WHO: The full-day conference will be kicked off by a keynote address from Jeffrey C. Johnson, Chief Technology Officer at the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Mr. Johnson will describe the expanding role of modernized IT in the FBI’s law enforcement mission. Nitin Pradhan, Chief Information Officer at the Department of Transportation, will deliver the luncheon keynote on agility in innovation and modernization. Bob Gourley, Founder and CTO of Crucial Point, LLC, will moderate an afternoon panel discussion with government and HP technology leaders on accelerating infrastructure modernization.
