VMware SD-WAN has achieved the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) High Authorization through the Joint Authorization Board (JAB). This is especially important since this means VMware SD-WAN was vetted by the Department of Defense (DoD), Homeland Security (DHS), and General Services Administration (GSA) and cleared for use on a government-wide scale.
Government workers need ubiquitous access to cloud applications and data. Agencies progress towards accomplishing mission goals is hampered if this highly distributed workforce doesn't have adequate connectivity for fast and secure access to Software as a Service (SaaS) applications and cloud-based resources.
Attendees of this panel session heard VMware SD-WAN experts discuss:
- The challenges behind legacy networking infrastructure
- How modernizing networking infrastructure enables agencies, complements Cloud Smart policy, and accelerates the zero-trust journey
- How you can get started modernizing government networks
