Commvault and Carahsoft were excited to invite attendees to join them in the lead-up to DoDIIS 2023 to explore how their teams could innovate, adapt, and collaborate in service of their mission goals by utilizing emerging technologies.

Commvault had delivered enterprise-level backup and disaster recovery solutions that integrated the ability to create Clarity from Chaos. When constructing a fundamental ground-up solution for a major IC organization, Commvault had started by addressing the fundamental data requirements from NIST, emphasized by the Oversight and Reform’s (COR) scorecard grading agencies on implementing key pieces of legislation. These included provisions from the Federal Information Technology Acquisition Reform (FITARA), Modernizing Government Technology (MGT) Act, Federal Information Security Modernization Act of 2014 (FISMA), and emerging guidelines on Zero Trust.

The overall goal for the webinar was to assist agencies in realizing what was available to not only meet but significantly expand technical solutions for clarifying data compliance. Solutions such as file storage optimization, eDiscovery, eCompliance, overall records management, and cloud solution integration were already fully integrated into the deployed solution as the foundation for HaCC, DHMC, DEOS, and JWCC emerging requirements. Specifically, these objectives included:
