Carahsoft Named 2015 Future 50 and Blue Chip Awards Winner by SmartCEO Magazine

Recognized for the Seventh Consecutive Year for Rapid Revenue and Employee Growth

  

Reston, Va.—January 27, 2015— Carahsoft Technology Corp., the trusted government IT solutions provider, today announced it has been honored with the 2015 Washington SmartCEO Future 50 award and has been named as a fourth-time recipient of the Blue Chip Award by the magazine.

The Future 50 award recognizes the Greater Washington area’s 50 fastest-growing companies based on employee and revenue growth over the past three years. The Blue Chip award differentiates the top four companies that have earned over $150 million in annual revenue. The award winners collectively made $3.5 billion in annual revenue for 2013, with Carahsoft representing 49% of the total revenue for that year.

Carahsoft was founded in 2004 and earned more than $2.2 billion in revenue in 2014. The company, which employs more than 450 people, serves as the largest government partner for many of the industry’s leading software manufacturers including VMware, Adobe, Symantec, Red Hat, HP, SAP, EMC, and F5 Networks among others.

The Future 50 Awards program is the largest and most highly anticipated SmartCEO awards program of the year. This program recognizes 50 fast-growth, mid-sized companies in the region, four large Blue Chip companies and five small Emerging Growth companies.
