Unlike traditional transcripts, our transcripts are time-synchronized word for word. This means that every word is linked back to a precise point in your media. We use this time-text data to create closed captions and subtitles in many different formats and languages.

We also develop interactive web-based applications that empower users to search video down to the spoken word and clip sections of video simply by highlighting the text. These capabilities can all be accessed through our flexible APIs, a secure online account system, and partner platforms that have integrated our tools and services.

  Without exception, all work is done in the U.S. by native English speakers capable of accurately capturing the cultural and linguistic nuances. We have a staff of more than 300 transcriptionists, which gives us the flexibility to assign complex content to transcriptionists with a discipline-specific expertise or a familiarity with a certain accent. Accuracy and quality are further improved by our ability to preload keywords, content-specific terms, and project-specific instructions for every file. Your transcripts also undergo a stringent, multi-step quality assurance process, ensuring that the quality is as good as or better than manual transcription or court stenography.

  After your content has been transcribed, you can log into your account and freely edit your transcripts and captions. The editing interface includes a media player that is linked to your transcript word-to-word. This lets you click on any word in the transcript to play the video (or audio) from that exact point. Any changes that you make instantly propagate to all output files and there is no need to reprocess your files. You can also use the find & replace tool to change the spelling of a word or make redactions throughout an entire transcript.
