At the end of this year, Medicaid funding through the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) will begin "unwinding" with final funding ending in December. It is estimated that approximately 17 million individuals may lose health care coverage due to lack of awareness or out of date contact information. The Center for Medicare Services (CMS) is requiring state agencies to make a good faith effort to contact these individuals including mail, phone and email notifications.
