Engaging alumni is a cornerstone of academic program success, yet fostering meaningful connections can be particularly challenging for online programs. Outdated databases, the need for compelling content, sustained alumni interest, and reliable methods to evaluate engagement effectiveness all pose unique obstacles to achieving impactful alumni relations.

 

The University of Kentucky College of Social Work tackled these challenges head-on by implementing Slack as a foundational platform for interaction, significantly boosting alumni engagement within its program.
