The Secret Service recently issued a national alert regarding organized crime groups exploiting the COVID-19 crisis to commit large-scale fraud against state agencies. The State of Washington acknowledges the loss of "hundreds of millions of dollars" due to unemployment fraud, with at least eight other states suffering losses. In response to this sharp rise in cyber-crime, F5 is rolling out a new program to help States detect and prevent fraudulent activity, leveraging their world-class managed security services.
