Q: What mobile apps does the Document Cloud have?
A: The Document Cloud has several mobile apps, such as Adobe Reader mobile, Fill & Sign, and Adobe Scan. Read more about those here:
https://acrobat.adobe.com/us/en/mobile.html
Q: What else can you do in Adobe Acrobat, besides editing PDFs?
A: Many things! I have a full breakdown of every single tool present in Acrobat on my YouTube channel, linked below.
Q: What is Section 508?
A: Section 508 was an amendment to the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, passed in 1998, stating that all federal electronic communications must be made accessible to those with disabilities.
Here’s a link explaining what that is:
https://www.section508.gov/manage/laws-and-policies
Q: How do I make my PDFs Section 508 compliant?
A: Acrobat’s Accessibility tool is used to make PDFs comply with Section 508. It is a good idea to do this for all of your PDFs in general, but it is a mandate for federal agencies! I have multiple videos covering the accessibility tool in my Document Cloud YouTube channel, linked below.

Q: I have Adobe Acrobat; why do I need Adobe Sign?
A: While Adobe Acrobat is a PDF editing tool, with support for applying signatures into a document, Adobe Sign is an end-to-end solution for eSignatures. Adobe Sign was designed with ease of use in mind for both the form sender and form
filler – a sender is freed from the burden of having to route the document themselves, and gains insight as to who has signed, and the form filler is able to sign the agreement across any device in a legally binding way.
Q: Does Adobe Sign have an API?
A: Yes! As a matter of fact, over 40% of Adobe Sign transactions are sent via Adobe Sign’s v6 REST API. Here’s more information about the API: https://www.adobe.io/apis/documentcloud/sign/docs.html
Q: Which version of Adobe Acrobat do I need?
A: Here’s a handy link breaking down the functionality differences between each version of Adobe Acrobat: https://acrobat.adobe.com/us/en/acrobat/pricing/compare-versions.html
Q: What does Adobe Sign integrate with?
A: Adobe is Microsoft’s eSignature partner of choice, and as such many products in the Microsoft Portfolio has a plug-and-play Adobe Sign integration readily available. Additionally, there are a plethora of integrations available, which are listed out here: https://acrobat.adobe.com/us/en/business/integrations.html
