Government Adoption of Electronic Signatures in 2017
Event Date: March 28, 2017 at 2:00 PM EDT
Hosted By: Adobe & Carahsoft
A multitude of laws have supported the use of electronic signatures over the past 20 years. Governments at all levels are eager to adopt a technology that increases efficiency and cybersecurity, while also providing greater convenience to constituents. Despite these desires, confusion around the legality of electronic signatures has prevented the widespread acceptance of electronic signatures in government. Many agencies have simply avoided the use of electronic signatures in their entirety.
Adobe has been working with legislators in states such as California and Hawaii to help craft laws that make the most of electronic signature technology. In 2015, Adobe supported Hawaii's commitment to realizing a paperless government. Within ten months of announcing that initiative, the Governor's Office was completely paperless. Now, other states like Arizona are following suit.
Join Adobe and Carahsoft on Tuesday, March 28th for an educational webinar on how to effectively implement and use electronic signatures in your agency.
During this webinar you will learn:
