List of Federal Industry Leaders

Rises Over 30 Ranks on the List of Top Prime Contract Holders

RESTON, VA--(Marketwired - Aug 4, 2015) - Carahsoft Technology Corp., the trusted government IT solutions provider, today announced it has been included for the fourth consecutive year on Bloomberg Government's 200 Federal Industry Leaders list. Carahsoft ranked #128, climbing more than 30 spots from last year's ranking of #161.

The fourth annual BGOV200 Federal Industry Leaders Study ranks the top 200 vendors by value of prime, unclassified contracts awarded by U.S. agencies in fiscal 2014. It analyzes the top contracts at 24 agencies and departments, and in 20 different purchasing categories. While the total value of contracts in fiscal 2014 was down 3.1 percent compared to 2013, technology services and technology equipment funding increased in 2014 as agencies focused on modernization, cloud and agile development.

"We are honored to be recognized by Bloomberg Government once again for our success in the federal market," said Craig P. Abod, Carahsoft president. "We've built an IT solutions portfolio and an ecosystem of technology and reseller partners to address a comprehensive range of IT requirements for our government customers -- particularly in the areas of virtualizaton, cloud computing, cyber security, big data, mobile, open source and citizen engagement."

Founded in 2004, Carahsoft serves as the largest government partner for many of the industry's leading IT manufacturers including VMware, Adobe, Symantec, Red Hat, HP, SAP, EMC, and F5 Networks among others. Along with its partners, Carahsoft focuses on providing technology that helps public sector customers solve IT security, management and infrastructure challenges and improve IT efficiencies and capabilities. Carahsoft posted more than $2.2 billion in revenue in 2014, and employs nearly 500 team members.
